Our Live-in Program

Sending people straight back home after completing treatment can often be a recipe for relapse.

Newly sober people are very often unprepared for the jump from the round-the-clock care and attention they received in treatment, or structured sober living -to the complete independence and freedom they will experience in daily life.

Electric Sobriety recognizes the importance of addressing the unique specialized needs at this important juncture in a persons recovery. It is our belief that a stay at Electric Sobriety will greatly increase your chances of building a life of sustainable recovery by providing you guidance and arming you with healthy daily practices.

We offer a beautiful sober environment with structure, supervision and accountability. No two cases are alike; hence, the programs offered at Electric Sobriety can vary and are tailored to the individual.  Services offered can include:

  • Supervision ranging from round-the-clock to on-call.
  • Transportation to and from scheduled appointments.
  • Daily/weekly/long-term goal planning.
  • Introducing and accompanying clients to recovery meetings.
  • Implementing healthy daily practices.
  • Creating a strong sober foundation and network.

Programs can vary from three days to three months. After completion of the program clients will be provided guidance with respect to deciding their best path forward. Our goal is to help each and every client build a sober foundation that will hopefully lead to a happy, fulfilling life.

Founder

Allison Creelman’s twenty years of experience working with alcoholics and drug addicts as well as the fact that she is a recovering alcoholic, led her to recognize that the first stages of recovery are the most precarious. This realization was the genesis of Electric Sobriety.

Established in 2018, Electric Sobriety is an interim step on the path to sober life. More specifically, it is a short-term, one-on-one sober living haven that offers a unique opportunity for women transitioning from treatment and/or detox to mainstream life.

Location

Electric Sobriety is located in the heart of Venice Beach, California, steps away from Abbot Kinney Blvd and a short walk to the beach.  Venice has an extremely supportive sober community and offers numerous recovery meetings.  Additionally, there are amazing restaurants, coffee shops, yoga studios, gyms and shops all within walking distance of Electric Sobriety. For clients who like to surf, we have boards and wetsuits and can arrange for surf lessons.

Clients stay in their own private, fully-equipped suite located on a gated property. The client’s sober companion resides on-site directly below the client’s suite.
